Health Qigong Baduanjin videos - from Chinese University MOOC

The following are some videos from Chinese University MOOC on Health Qigong Baduanjin *.

Health Qigong Baduanjin - 6th form 八段锦 - 两手攀足固肾腰

A few weeks ago in class, we discussed how the BaDuanJin - 6th form "Both hands reach down to strengthen the kidneys and waist" should be done.  In particular, we discussed whether the body should be straight when lifting up, or if the body should progressively straightened from the waist up to the head.

The video above, which is performed by a well known qigong teacher, clearly shows that the body is straightened first with hands reaching forward before lifting up *.

The video below discusses more about the performance of that form.  The video is in Mandarin Chinese though *.

The following video * gives further explanation of the performance of this form.  This video is also spoken in Mandarin Chinese though.
